Film Workshops
Film workshops aim to develop young film makers working together to create original short films, animations and explore various film genre. Young people are enabled to make their own short films and are supported to participate in Film Festivals dedicated to young film makers.
Our team of youth film facilitators includes Thomas Grace and Amanda Alexander.
Thomas Grace, is an accomplished Waterford based Film Maker and Photographer.
Thomas takes the participants through all aspects of film using industry standard equipment. It is a lot of work but the rewards and the experience can sometimes ignite students' interest into a career they never thought possible or at the very least, enjoy this new experience.
Film workshop sessions cover everything from Storyboarding, Script development, Camera, Sound, Direction, Costume, Location, SFX, Green Screen, Animation and always while using wildly imaginative ideas and creativity.
Film costs €49 per term.
There are discounts for more than one family member. If any child has difficulty paying the fee, please talk with the office team about our bursary scheme.
